Ray Henderson, vice president and chief products officer, leverages his extensive experience in the education industry and his passion for creating innovative educational products to lead the marketing and development of the ANGEL Learning Management Suite of products. Mr. Henderson came to ANGEL Learning from the Pearson Education Higher Education Group where he served as president/general manager of their educational technology development group. In this capacity, Mr. Henderson was responsible for thousands of internet based product offerings, used by millions of students annually. Mr. Henderson also launched Safari Books Online LLC and later Safari-X digital books products which have become the largest digital book services in the industry and InformIT.com, a leading ecommerce and information portal for the IT reference industry.

Mr. Henderson is a member of the board of directors of IMS Global Learning Consortium, Inc. His demonstrated commitment to open standards mirrors the ANGEL Learning development philosophy. Mr. Henderson's industry experience also includes serving as SVP of product development at eCollege.com and VP of internet services at Simon & Schuster Higher Education Group.
